Welcome to the International Conference on Quantum Energy
ICQE is a scientific conference with a cross-disciplinary program on quantum science and technology for energy management.
The event gathers researchers, industry, and policymakers to explore the role of quantum technology in addressing some of our global energy challenges.
After the success of the inaugural edition, ICQE is coming to Europe for its second edition, which will be hosted by the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padua. The event will be organised in partnership with the Quantum Energy Initiative, and supported by the Quantum Information and Matter group and Padua QTech Centre.
To celebrate the international year of quantum science and technology, ICQE 2025 will have a focus session on quantum computing and simulation and their significance for energy management.
