Highlights and insights for ICQE 2023Preparations are continuing apace for the International Conference on Quantum Energy (ICQE 2023), which will come to The Pullman on the Park in Melbourne, Australia in December. Over the past few months, our team has been working hard to ensure that ICQE 2023 delivers an engaging and enriching experience. I’m incredibly proud to let you know that Australia’s Chief Scientist, Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM, has agreed to deliver the Welcome Address for the conference. Dr Foley will join our other esteemed keynote speakers including Prof Gerard Milburn, Dr Alexia Auffèves and Prof Sir Peter Knight. They will be sharing their ground-breaking work and latest insights on the application of quantum mechanics in addressing global energy challenges. We also have 26 invited speakers from across the world who represent a diverse field of expertise. We have also successfully concluded the call for papers, and I have been impressed with the calibre of submissions. The selection process is underway, and we expect to be finalising a detailed program within weeks. In the meantime, you can see our Program at a Glance. I look forward to convening with you in December as we share insights, build connections and spark new ideas in this important field of endeavour. Kind regards,
